Stage It Performing Arts Studio has a position open for a Musical Theatre /Drama Instructor. The ideal candidate for this position has post secondary education in musical theatre and or theatre at the College or University level and experience working with youth aged 8-14. The focus of this position is to work within a team of artists and professionals putting together a full scale musical production with youth to be staged live in the community in Spring 2011. Candidates must have excellent classroom management skills and experience teaching performing arts related coursed to youth. In addition candidates need to be able to read music and work with a musical score and script. They would work in a team with a professional accompanist/musical director and choreographer. Applicants would be specifically responsible for the teaching of the play, character development, scene work, blocking and putting the production together for stage. Experience performing is an asset either through their degree program or in the community. This position is best suited to someone who has a passion for theatre and loves sharing that passion with young people. A new studio, the Scugog Studio of Performing Arts, providing dance and acting instruction to students in the Port Perry/Scugog (north Durham) area, is opening late summer with a starting expectation of 90-100 students (all programs). Our dance season runs from September to June with a 1 week "get ready" session in mid/late August for competitive dancers.

The ideal candidate for this position has post secondary education in musical theatre and or theatre at the College or University level and experience working with youth aged 8-14. The focus of this position is to work within a team of artists and professionals putting together a full scale musical production with youth to be staged live in the community in Spring 2011. Candidates must have excellent classroom management skills and experience teaching performing arts related coursed to youth. In addition candidates need to be able to read music and work with a musical score and script. They would work in a team with a professional accompanist/musical director and choreographer. Applicants would be specifically responsible for the teaching of the play, character development, scene work, blocking and putting the production together for stage. Experience performing is an asset either through their degree program or in the community. This position is best suited to someone who has a passion for theatre and loves sharing that passion with young people. Posted: July 26, 2010Established Ballet &Music School in Singapore is looking for ballet teachers for their Dance Department. You must have a college or university degree in Dance Education, familiar with Vaganova (Russian) and RAD syllabus on Intermediate level.
We have four vacancies.
More than 2 years Experience with small children, age 3-5 yrs is essential. You must be fluent in English and able to deal with parents if needed, passionate, positive and able to maintain a good discipline.
This is a full time position with a two year contract and benefits (Paid annual leave, accommodation and air ticket allowance).
