SUMMARY:I Found my Dance in a Bomb Shelter… Anecdotes of Gratitude from a Life in Dance Book Launch
DESCRIPTION:\n\nI Found my Dance in a Bomb Shelter… Anecdotes of Gratitude from a Life in Dance”.\nAllen Kaeja\nBOOK LAUNCH\nDECEMBER 3, 2024\n5:30-7:30 PM\nRSVP TO INFO@DCD.CA – please indicate number of guests\n*This event is free\n\nJoin us for a live reading by me and special guests, book signing, and reception at The Catalyst, Toronto Metropolitan University, 80 Gould St.\n \nI Found My Dance in a Bomb Shelter: Anecdotes of Gratitude from A Life in Dance is filled with stories about the people and encounters that have shaped Allen Kaeja as a son, brother, husband, father, and artist. Allen’s life is a story of discovery and the courage to push boundaries. Through it all, weaves a thread of intergenerational trauma as the son of a Holocaust survivor. These anecdotes will amuse, inspire, and move all those who read this engaging book about a life well lived, the importance of family, and the power of community.\n\nNOTE: If you would like to attend but are out-of-town, the event will be live-streamed on Dance Collection Danse FaceBook page from 6-7pm.\n\n\n
