Salsa For All
with Miko Sobreira
Salsa is a form of social dance with a diverse background, taking influences from African drum rhythms, Spanish guitar and Afro-Cuban and Afro-Caribbean dances. While the movements and style originated from the Caribbean, it was in New York that salsa got its name and started to gain popularity. Miko's class is fun for all- you can dance solo or with a partner!
Movement with the Trees with Julia Aplin
I am inspired by the teachings of the trees, the depth of humanity I have witnessed during our isolation and the beauty of our blue planet as it spins on through the vast universe. Julia will lead you in a class that is part choreographed and part improvised-- guided frameworks to explore our humanity through movement expression.
Conscious Movement with Terrill Maguire
Terrill guides us to investigate the potential of our individual bodies, no matter what age, stage, or condition. We will tune into the connection of the breath with movement, to maximize the integration of body, mind, heart, and soul. Constructive alignment, strength, flexibility, and stamina will be gently pursued. To catalyze everyone's creative potential, we'll also follow the expressive capacities of the body through rhythm and improvised movement.
