Sashar Zarif Dance Theatre had the privilege of being the director of the WDAAP's Choreolab 2019 in Cox's Bazzar, and the pleasure of working with 19 wonderful, vibrant souls. We learned and unlearned together, bonded with each other, and formed a family. I am grateful for this experience, and for the possibility to keep connecting with these amazing artists throughout the pandemic.

In these challenging times, dancers and choreographers in Bangladesh and India have been coping with loss of livelihood, and the anxiety and suffering that accompanied the recent wave of Covid illness in this subcontinent.

The video benefit, which runs for 1 hour, will be streaming on the WDAAP YouTube channel on Thursday 15 July 2021 throughout the whole day, world-wide. This is a free event but you can make a donation through PayPal at the link below.
