Greetings from the Centre of Movement Arts,
We are just ONE WEEK AWAY from the 2021 Festival and we couldn't be more excited (we've only been waiting 2 years, 2 months, 2 weeks and 3 days, but who's counting?)
As usual, we've got something for everyone: Dance Films, Volunteer Jobs, a Dance Mob, Workshops, an Interactive Dance Map, and a LIVE Performance with Live Music. Read on for all the details, and stay tuned to our website and social media channels @ldndancefest so you don't miss a thing.
We'll see you very soon!

You and your partner will be taught a dance step by step with room for your own interpretation that feels best for you. Try something new and most importantly have fun!
5-6pm Intro to Bellydance with Luna of Rising Moon – Live music by Light of the East Ensemble
Explore the ancient art of Bellydance. This workshop will focus on fundamentals including arm/hands movements, different kinds of shimmies and travelling steps. Luna suggests wearing comfortable workout clothes and a scarf of any kind around your hips if you have one. No shoes are required. Don't forget to bring water to stay hydrated especially after the shimmy practice!
