CCDT proudly hosts the 23rd annual SunDance, the only summer intensive in the world to combine RAD Ballet and Limón Modern.
SunDance goes virtual this year, providing renowned high-calibre technical training and artistic development through an online platform. Led by some of Canada’s top dance educators with guest instruction by acclaimed international dance artists, SunDance 2020 offers an innovative and streamlined online intensive experience that will enrich and inspire young dancers ages 11-19.

About SunDance 2020
Hosted primarily via Zoom, the online format of SunDance maintains the integrity of our unique combination of RAD Ballet and Limón Modern taught with live musical accompaniment, supplemented with revolutionary dance-based Conditioning methods, Improvisation & Composition, and Jazz (Program B only).
We are thrilled to introduce NEW biweekly Dance Discussions, moderated by a series of guest experts, covering topics such as Injury Prevention Management, Optimal Nutrition for Dancers, the Art of Stress Management, and more.
Weekly Surprise Wednesdays offer special Ballet and Modern technique classes taught by a variety of international guest instructors, teaching directly from their home cities around the world.
SunDance 2020 is offered at two levels:*
• Program B – Intermediate (age 11-14)
• Program A – Advanced (age 14-19)
*Program placement is determined by audition, with age, experience, and demonstrated skill level taken into consideration.
