Culture’s Compass: How the Industry Keeps Beating is a FREE two-day virtual conference exploring solutions and ideas for the arts and culture industry moving forward during this time of crisis.

Featuring a full schedule of discussions, interactive presentations, panels, seminars, and performances, the event will bring together artists, arts and culture professionals, and arts and culture enthusiasts from all sectors.

How do we shape the terms of dance work to include the realities of care work?


Solidarity in dance education

Bringing together dancers, educators and students, this group of experts will explore the obstacles of better integrating diverse dance styles into post-secondary institutions and professional programs, presentation spaces, equitable public funding and more reflective artist representation. In the spirit of solidarity, a collective of voices offers their experiences uniting and supporting each other in dance and, as well, discuss ways to address the divisions that we observe and seek to bridge.
