Jake Poloz, a graduate of the Conteur Academy, is a dancer & choreographer working between Montreal and Toronto. He has performed works by, and collaborated with, such artists as Lesley Telford, Robert Glumbek, Roberto Campanella, Matt Luck, Ermanno Sbezzo, Andrew Skeels, and Benjamin Landsberg. He has been a member of ProArteDanza since 2018 and has also performed with Alysa Pires Dance Projects, Bouchardanse, Ballet Kelowna, and was part of the Dora-nominated ensemble of Human Body Expression’s “Resonance.” Jake was also a participant in Springboard Danse Montreal, performing works by Marco Goecke and La Tresse. As a choreographer, he premiered his work “i’ve seen you naked” at the 2019 Hamilton Fringe Festival. It was hailed as “athletic, preposterous and funny” as well as “finely tuned… fresh and thought provoking” by View Magazine.  Additionally, he was selected to present his work “train | of” at The Garage and Dance Matters in Toronto.
