Jasmine Ellis is a Canadian choreographer and award–winning film director based out of Munich, Germany. A graduate of Etobicoke School of the Arts, The School of Toronto Dance Theatre and Codarts Rotterdam Conservatory. Ellis’s uncategorised approach to film, movement, body language, text and music is the basis of her artistic approach in which humour, vulnerability and familiarity are woven together to create unexpected worlds.  Ellis is the Artistic Director of Jasmine Ellis Projects and Bad Posture Productions. 

Can you tell us a little bit about yourself/your company?

Jasmine Ellis Projects: Projects led by Ellis’ distinct voice weave together familiarity, vulnerability and humour. Musing upon the human condition in global societies through dance, language, music and film. The substantial body of critically acclaimed work ranges from artist-to-artist collaborations to company productions.
