Over its storied 30-year run, DanceWeekend has evolved into a vibrant must-see extravaganza that actively builds creative, networking and organizational bridges. Between our members, the public at large, emerging and established audiences, and one another.

Featuring hundreds of dance artists, videos, interactive webinars, interviews and companies, DanceWeekend’s stunning smorgasbord of culture and talent grows richer and more far-reaching year after year.

With ongoing support from Canadian Heritage, The Canada Council and an extraordinary community of partners, sponsors and volunteers, DanceWeekend continues to wow – and expand – the dance community.
And consistently deliver on Dance Ontario’s promise to educate, showcase, entertain, promote, and provide performance and other opportunities for artists.

30 YEARS OF DANCE

DanceWeekend’24 will be celebrating and embracing three decades of spectacular dance!

Join us January 26 – 28th, 2024 for a weekend full of exciting, vibrant and must-see dance brought to you over 300 amazing artists.

Over three days (virtually and in person) witness a feast of styles including Contemporary, Ballet, Flamenco, Traditional Korean Dance, Hip – Hop, Indigenous, African and more! Come see them all and witness world premieres by choreographers BaKari I. Lindsay and Madeleine Twyman.

Celebrating 30 years of passion, fearlessness, and magic on the dance floor! Join us as we continue to inspire and uplift through the power of movement. Let’s make the next three decades even more incredible! 💃💫
