| Learn more about our 2022 Company and SunDance Auditions! Each year Canadian Contemporary Dance Theatre invites young dancers to audition for SunDance, our annual summer intensive, and the upcoming Company season beginning in September. CCDT dancers come from a variety of training, cultural, and economic backgrounds but all share a passion for the expressive power and range of modern and contemporary dance choreography that is created by leading dance artists on them and for them. Auditioning dancers will be considered for: SunDance Summer Intensive July 3-22, 2023 (ages 8-19) CCDT Company & Apprenticeship, 2023-2024 season (ages 14-18) CCDT Core Apprentice Program, 2023-2024 season (ages 11-14) CCDT Young Apprentice Program, 2023-2024 season (ages 8-11) CCDT Company Members benefit from exceptional training, professionally produced performances, repertoire and new creations by internationally recognized choreographers, and much more. The Young and Core Apprentice Programs provide an opportunity for gifted dancers as young as age 8 to develop their technique and artistry, while getting a taste of what it’s like to be part of a company. |
