This workshop introduces you to the fundamentals of an art of dance that understands the principles of groundedness, mobility, exchange, and rest.
Rooted in Congolese wisdom, the LOKETO workshop series is designed to improve dancers’ understanding of:
- Philosophical principles of dance and music
- Body alignment, strength, and spatial awareness for optimal movement
- Breath, precision, dynamic flexibility, and fluidity
- Musicality, rhythmic intelligence and resilience in motion.

- Saturday, April 15: 10:00 AM – 12.30 PM and 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Fee: $200 for 16.5 hours of instruction. No drop-in classes available.
