Fall for Dance North 8 Count Call for Films

CALL FOR DANCE FILMS

8-Count is FFDN’s short dance film screening in its second year, showcasing national and international dancemakers and filmmakers producing elevated short dance films. We are excited to announce that the films for the 2023 edition of 8-Count will be selected through an open call for the first time, and an honorarium of $700 will be offered for each selected film.

The 8-Count open call application is now live; applications close July 17. Films will be assessed on an ongoing basis as they are submitted by the 8-Count Selection Committee of professionally acclaimed film and dance artists.
