Jasmine Bentivoglio is a versatile powerhouse of a dancer. She was born in Sydney Australia and moved to Canada at a young age. She was enrolled in dance class as a child where her passion for dance blossomed. Jasmine went on to become a competitive dancer and has competed all over Ontario as well as travelling to compete in the United States. During her competitive dance career she has been awarded scholarships to dance intensives and conventions including Nuvo and 24Seven where she had the opportunity to meet and dance with her idols Travis Wall and tWitch. She has been awarded triple overall soloist multiple times and has won special awards for her choreography as well as her passion when performing. While in her competitive dance career, she also performed in shows outside the dance studio such as Canada’s Ballet Jorgen’s Canadian Nutcracker.
She followed her passion for dance to George Brown College’s Commercial Dance Program in Toronto. Here she blossomed into a triple threat performer and sparked a love for Acting. Upon graduating from the program she kept up her training at The National Ballet of Canada as well as City Dance Corps. She went on to book an agent, work in TV/Film and keep performing. One of her favorite performances she did was a contemporary piece by Christopher Knowles at Fall for Dance North. Currently Jasmine is still auditioning in the GTA and teaching youth and adult classes at City Dance Corps.
