The Burlington Footnotes is an enthusiastic group of seniors who have a passion for dance, community involvement and celebrating the art of staying young. The Burlington Footnotes promotes the ideals of aging gracefully through a healthy body and mind and empowerment through performance art. The Burlington Footnotes mission is to dispel the stereotypical myths associated with aging by demonstrating through live theatrical performances the stamina, vitality and talent of the post 50 generation. Since its inception in 1995, the organization has grown from 6 to more than 75 members. Their annual production GOTTA SING, GOTTA DANCE! performed at the Burlington Performing Arts Centre is a musical variety extravaganza that showcases the many talents of the 50+ generation. With music that transcends the generations combined with a stunning array of costumes, song and dance, you are guaranteed to be entertained and inspired.
