Allegro Dance School is currently seeking an experienced Social Media and Marketing Coordinator to join our expanding studio. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 2 years of experience, including brand management and franchise experience. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for all social media and marketing activities. Your responsibilities will include strategizing and organizing marketing campaigns, as well as collaborating with the Allegro team to ensure successful execution. This position is initially Part-Time with potential for Full-Time growth.
Duties:
• Develop and execute social media and marketing strategies.
• Create engaging content for social media platforms.
• Monitor and analyze social media metrics to optimize engagement.
• Collaborate with the outreach team to promote events and initiatives.
• Maintain and update the organization’s website and social media channels.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field New Media is an asset but not required or currently enrolled in university or college level.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team
• Must have access to a vehicle with a valid driver’s license and willing to travel to the studio in Thornhill area.
• High level understanding and knowledge of social media platforms required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Hootsuite and Social Media i.e. X, Instagram, and Facebook.
• Excellent technology, writing, communication & presentation skills
• Strong design aesthetic and hands-on experience creating graphics for social media
