On the occasion of World AIDS Day, Dance Collection Danse announces Stories of HIV/AIDS and Dance in Canada, a touring exhibition now in development coming in Fall 2025. Curated by Christopher House.
DCD is currently engaged in extensive research in preparation for an upcoming touring exhibition and publication called Stories of HIV/AIDS and Dance in Canada. They are asking the community to share stories of friends, loved ones, and collaborators who were lost to AIDS, and any artifacts would enrich this research including photos, printed materials or other objects. Rather than sending original objects, please send photos or scans along with any related information to 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼@𝗱𝗰𝗱.𝗰𝗮 These will be collected by DCD for possible use in the exhibition and publication.
