Position Overview:
We are seeking an energetic and reliable Dance Teacher to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a passion for dance and a knack for engaging young learners. You will lead classes for children ages 2 to 10, helping them develop their skills while having fun.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging dance lessons following the studio’s curriculum.
- Choreograph and participate in the year-end recital.
- Create a positive and supportive classroom environment.
- Foster a love for dance while promoting physical activity and self-confidence.
- Communicate effectively with the studio’s staff about class and student’s progress.
- Maintain a safe and organized dance space.
Qualifications:
- Experience teaching dance to children ages 2-10.
- Strong knowledge of various dance styles (ballet, jazz, acro, hip hop, tap, creative movement, kinder dance).
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and a positive role model for children.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
