Kids In Dance is a growing non-profit dance studio dedicated to providing high-quality dance education in a supportive, positive, and inclusive environment. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Part Time-Competitive Team Ballet Instructor to join our faculty for the 2026-2027 dance season.

Position Details

Tuesdays, September–June
Approximately 4.5 hours per week (between 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.)

Responsibilities

Teach ballet to competitive dancers across a variety of ages and skill levels (ages 9-17).
Focus on technical development, artistry, and performance quality.
Prepare dancers for ballet examinations.
Choreograph recital routines 2-3.
Collaborate with our teaching team to support each dancer’s growth throughout the season.

Qualifications

Strong background in classical ballet training.
Experience teaching competitive dancers at multiple levels.
Knowledge of ballet syllabus and exam preparation is an asset.
Positive, encouraging, and professional teaching style.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Reliable and committed for the full September–June season.
Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience.
