The Dance Ontario Awards Committee is delighted to announce that Madison Gray (aka Ms Madison) will be the recipient of this year’s Jacque Foesier Youth Dance Award. The ceremony will take place on Sunday, January 17, 2016 during DanceWeekend at the Fleck Dance Theatre in Toronto.
18 year old Madison teaches at Jade’s Hip Hop Academy (JHHA) where she has been a dedicated and committed “family” member since 2008.
“Her relentless determination has seen her advance through our programs from pre-competitive to competitive to being accepted into the performance company. The same ambition and work ethic also continues to contribute to her growth and success as an instructor at the studio.
Her passion for dance is undeniable as she shines on stage and in the classroom and strives to achieve excellence every day. She has overcome injury, surgery and continues to manage her commitments to her high school where she also participates in her Hip Hop Dance Club. When asked if she would like to participate in the greater dance community, she did not hesitate to take the opportunity”.

The Youth Dance Award is named in honour of long time Board member and founding Chair of Dance Ontario Association, Jacque Foesier whose lifetime commitment to bringing dance to youth from all backgrounds is a shining example for us all.
Come and see Madison at DanceWeekend on Sunday January 17, 2016!
