Ex-staffer, Jessica Westerman was seen in Stepping Out which opened on January 22.

Jessica started tapping at the age of 4 and hasn’t stopped since.  Performing with What’s On Tap? Dance Company for 11 seasons and with the National Tap Dance Company of Canada (William Orlowski) for 5, Jessica has had the pleasure to dance on both coasts of the country and throughout Ontario.  She teaches tap to students ages 3-83, weekly in classrooms, dance studios, and colleges, and she’s proud to bring the joy of tap to audiences everywhere.  She has work shopped with notable tap dancers, Gregory Hines, Jason Samuels Smith, and Dianne Walker to name a few, and has also been inspired by Canada’s own, William Orlowski, Kim Chalovich, and the entire faculty at the Tap Dance Centre.  She is Chair of the Tap Committee for the Performing Arts Educators of Canada and sits on their executive board.  She is also a choreographer for Lock & Keynote Productions, creating for musicals, Academy of Dreams, and Willy Wonka Jr.  A proud mother and wife, every one in her family owns a pair of tap shoes and her ultimate goal is to create the Von “Tap” Family.
