Community Meeting
Monday March 5, 2018
7:00pm to 9:00pm ET
This meeting will be held online through Adobe Connect. Details are listed below.
The Board of Directors of the Canada Dance Festival (CDF) is holding a community meeting open to the public from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm ET, Monday, March 5 2018. Please join the conversation and participate in building a future for the CDF, recognizing its contribution and significance to the development and celebration of dance in Canada.
This is a crucial moment in the history of the CDF. Major funding shortfalls have meant the suspension of the 2018 festival, and important decisions must be made to ensure the CDF can survive and flourish. The Board is seeking national community input on and involvement in a renewed vision for the CDF, including opportunities to join the Board and/or committees and to develop solutions/options to meet stable and predictable funding needs.
