Coming this Spring, Guelph Dance is proud to present Jaberi Dance Theatre‘s No Woman’s Land! Created by Roshanak Jaberi, this outstanding production will be presented on March 18, 2023 at the River Run Centre. Postponed from 2022, we are elated to finally be presenting this phenomenal show in Guelph.
Haunting images, empowering narrative and breathtaking movement by an electrifying ensemble lay bare the plight and resistance of women in refugee camps. Nominated for five Dora Awards including Best Original Production, and with a sold-out run in Toronto, No Woman’s Land is a dance theatre work based on real stories that beautifully reveals the depths of human resilience in the face of adversity.
The production was supported by the research of Dr. Doris Rajan (IRIS-Institute for Research and Development on Inclusion and Society) and Dr. Shahrzad Mojab (University of Toronto).
Save the date! Tickets will be available on December 1st, 2022 through the River Run Centre. |
