The Kingston Arts Council is now accepting applications for the 2014 Operating and Project Grant Programs for the City of Kingston Arts Fund (CKAF). The Kingston Arts Council will host two information sessions and all applicants are encouraged to attend.

 

The Operating Grants Information Session will take place Tuesday March  4, 6:30pm in the Delahaye Room, Kingston Frontenac Public Library – Central Branch (130 Johnson St).

 

The Projects Grants Information Session will take place Thursday March 6, 6:30pm in the Delahaye Room, Kingston Frontenac Public Library – Central Branch (130 Johnson St).

 

Grant Application Packages are available for download at www.artskingston.ca. Paper copies of the Grant Forms & Guidelines will be available at each Information Session. Paper copies are available for pickup during office hours at the following locations:

  • The Kingston Arts Council (253 Ontario Street, Suite 203 – Office hours:  Monday to Thursday, 10:00am-3:00pm);
  • The Reception desk at City Hall (216 Ontario Street); and
  • The Kingston Frontenac Public Library Information desk (Central Branch, 130 Johnson Street). 

Completed Operating Grant Applications are due at the Kingston Arts Council Office on or before Friday April 11, 2014 at 4:30pm.

CKAF provides grants to local arts groups and organizations to foster creativity at all levels and enrich how Kingston residents experience and engage with the arts. Since its inception in 2007, the CKAF has provided a mechanism for the City to annually invest $500,000 in the arts and arts organizations to support a combination of project and operating grants.
