The Ontario government is investing $100 million over two years in the Community Building Fund to support community tourism, culture and sport organizations which are experiencing significant financial pressures due to the pandemic.

 

The Community Building Fund will provide recovery support to not-for-profit organizations in the tourism, culture and sport industries impacted by COVID-19.  Funding will be provided for both organizational operating support, as well as capital funding for sport and recreation infrastructure.

 

Eligibility criteria and program details for the Community Building Fund are being developed with an intended program launch in Winter 2020-21.
