Possibilities of Dialogue is a participatory/interactive contemporary dance work co-created by Marielis Garcia (New York City) and David Norsworthy (Toronto). The work premiered in 2019 and now this creative duo is re-making the piece in preparation for upcoming tours to Thunder Bay, ON and Newburgh, NY. Due to the participatory nature of the project, they need a test audience to practise their new version.

Inspired by the parallels between making a dance and having a conversation, the performance is an emergent, collaborative creative process; moments of listening, curiosity, disagreement and spontaneity unfold through movement and text. David and Marielis are practising courage, compassion and communication; facilitating a shared experience while holding space for individuality. The performers will complete rapid antigen Covid-19 tests prior to the showing, and then perform/lead the event unmasked. We kindly ask that all audience members wear masks for the duration of the showing and feedback discussion.
