LEAD NATIONAL SUMMIT

Canada’s National Ballet School

Between August 15 to 19, 2023, Canada’s National Ballet School is thrilled to host the national summit of LEAD: Leadership, Empowerment, Action, Dance – a free workshop that uses dance as a foundation to explore leadership theory and practice. LEAD empowers participants from across Canada, aged 16 to 25 who identify as women, two-spirit, non-binary and/or genderqueer, to take on leadership roles and make a positive impact their communities through the arts.

Over the free four-day workshop at NBS’ campus in downtown Toronto, participants will take part in movement classes across a range of styles, facilitated discussions, and peer networking. For those travelling from outside of Toronto, travel, accommodation and meal costs will be covered by the program.
