dance Immersion is excited to launch the second season of our Legacy Series, which celebrates the African Diasporic roots and cultures of popular dance forms. Jazz Dance will be explored in the 22-23 season, beginning with our Symposium from October 21-23, 2022 at Hart House, University of Toronto. Toronto’s Natasha Powell is the Artistic Director of the Symposium, with special guest faculty members E. Moncell Durden (Los Angeles), Breai Michele (Baltimore), Michèle Moss (Calgary), Travis Knights (Brampton), Seika Boye (Toronto), Alexa Belgrave (Toronto).
