NOMADA, produced by Uarhi Creations (Diana Lopez Soto), blends aerial dance, installation art, and contemporary Mexican indigenous dance. Inspired by personal stories of displacement, dances and creation stories from the P’urhe’pecha (Purepecha) and Hñähñul (Otomí) nations of Michoacan, rituals of water, cycles of sustainability and the connections of our bodies to land, NOMADA is a visually stunning and visceral experience.
Co-presented with Canadian Stage as a part of the Festival of New Theatre.
