A piece is inspired by Chinese calligraphy, a form of communication from thousands of years ago, but is also seen as a form of art. Spectrum of Connection,choreographed by Emily Cheung with original music by Tony K.T. Leung, touches on the concept of globalization, the way people travel and migrate from one place to another. From losing contact in the past and reuniting or forming new connections in the future; taking a look into different forms of communication stemming from our history to our present time. This piece talks about our goals, dreams, and hopes to ease our communication.
