Unclearing: A double bill featuring Agrimony co-created by Sophie Dow and Laura Rezek, and Soft by
Malgorzata Nowacka-May showcases three powerful creators embracing jointly the theme of unraveling
superfluous states of our psyche.

The cast features multi-national artists from Toronto and Vancouver, as well as UK artist Laura Rezek singing and
playing live with Jonah Ocean.

Agrimony walks the edge between an evocative live concert and visceral contemporary dance, consisting of nine chapters/songs hailing from Reznek’s sophomore album. We honour the small yellow flower agrimony – in plant medicine: a catalyst for honesty, dissolving the masks upon masks society forces us to craft; unveiling a truest self.

Soft, choreographed by Malgorzata Nowacka-May reveals a new chapter of her signature story telling, emblematic choreography, revealing a collision between a state of futility inspired by daily tasks, and the rawness of fear. As our lives are collectively touched by both of these extremes, is there anything that can spark within us the desire to move further and beyond?
