CTD Forum for Halton Region took place recently at the lovely Queen Elizabeth Park Community Centre in Oakville. It was well attended making for lively conversations among educators, studio owners and artists.
Organized by Kate Lowe, Margie Simms, Elizabeth Kmiec and Jessica Westermann, in addition to the all important networking and discussions, there were delightful performances by a group opf Grade 8 students from CH Norton PS, Burlington Dance Company and Elizabeth Kmiec. The inspiring keynote speech was given by Georgia Simms of Imageo art works and Dancetheatre David Earle.
A great beginning for plans to enhance dance activity in the area and all under the watchful eye of Anjelica Scannura who conducted interviews and shot footage for her new Rogers TV program. More about this soon!
