Dear friends and colleagues,
The company is just back from a tour to Japan and South Africa where we presented Transhumance, a 20-sheep version of Les moutons in the context of the company’s 20th Anniversary.
Transhumance in Cape Town was an enlightening and moving experience for all involved. Have a look at the short video below featuring Thandiwe, one of the south african dancers from Jazzart Dance Theatre. She shares her perspective on this project.
The flock is continuing on to the Netherlands to perform at the Stilte International Festival next week, followed by more performances of Transhumance in July in Montreal for the city 375th Anniversary celebration and in Lafontaine ON for the Festival du Loup.
