To celebrate International Dance Day on April 29th,  Dance Ontario & Dance Ontario Youth Board are launching a special campaign where our Members can win a chance to gain some extra valuable exposure through our vast network by spreading their love for dance!
All you have to do is show us how you celebrate dance! Submit a dance picture or video on Instagram or Facebook under the hashtags #InternationalDanceDay and #livetodance, tag @dance_ontario  and just include the city you’re from! Everyone is welcome to participate – studios, crews, individuals, teachers, students, companies – everyone!
We will repost and share your entries via our Instagram/Facebook Pages. The Individual or Group with the most liked picture or video on their Instagram or Facebook Pages will have the incredible opportunity to be featured alongside some of Ontario’s most well known choreographers, teachers, and hottest companies and dancers! You’ll be featured on the official Dance Ontario website, as well as the newsletter which is sent out to our network of 650 members. Not only will you be recognized in all of Ontario – from the north to the south, from the east to the west – but you’ll be spreading the celebration and joy of dance!

Video must include:

  1. 15 sec video
  2. Include yourself saying “Happy International Dance Day!”
  3. Show us your moves!
  4. Hashtag both; #InternationalDanceDay and #LiveToDance in the caption
  5. Tag @dance_ontario in the caption
  6. Tell us which city you are from, genre of dance and company/school/studio etc.
  7. Like the Dance Ontario facebook and/or follow us on Instagram

Picture must include:

  1. Picture of yourself (studio, company, crew, students or dancer etc.)
  2. Picture must have #InternationalDanceDay or “Happy International Dance Day” on it
  3. Tag @dance_ontario in the photo and caption
  4. Tell us which city you are from, genre of dance and company/school/studio etc.
  5. Like the Dance Ontario facebook and/or follow us on Instagram
  • Picture or Video Must be posted on Instagram AND/OR Facebook
  • There is no limit on the number of entries – let’s spread the movement!
  • No age limit!
  • Contest opens April 22 (today) and ends April 29 at 11:59 pm
  • Winner will be announced on Monday May 3rd, 2015
