DanceWeekend’26
Day Two is Back!

Celebrate International Dance Day with us! DanceWeekend’26 Day Two is back. Originally cancelled because of an extreme snow event in January, Day Two is back on April 25, 2026.

DanceWeekend is Dance Ontario’s signature event!

DanceWeekend 2026 brings together a dynamic mix of artists shaping the dance landscape in Ontario. Taking place January 24 and April 25 at Harbourfront Centre Theatre in Toronto, the festival offers two days of bold performance, creative risk-taking, and shared experience.

Each program features short works by individual artists and companies, giving audiences the chance to encounter a wide range of movement practices, perspectives, and artistic voices in one place. From emerging creators to established makers, DanceWeekend highlights the diversity and vitality of dance being made across the province today.

Designed as both a platform for artists and an accessible entry point for audiences, the event provides professional production support, a dedicated technical team, and an honourarium so artists can focus fully on their work. DanceWeekend invites newcomers and longtime dance supporters alike to discover fresh ideas, connect with artists, and celebrate the creative energy driving Ontario’s dance community.

Tickets are $20 including tax and fees.
