HIRE HIGHER GRANT
Creative work is key to talent development. These independently driven projects are an opportunity for filmmakers to freely experiment, explore, and find a voice.
In an effort to foster, provide access, and support these original voices, Hire Higher will award three grants of $5000 each to BIPOC creatives looking to break into the industry, build their reels, and enrich their body of work.
Applications open on June 15th
Submissions close July 15th at 5pm EST.
Grant recipients will be announced August 15th
Each grant will be supplemented with in-kind donations for services and equipment (i.e. camera, grip, lighting), wardrobe/styling, and/or post-production. Recipients will also receive support from select commercial production companies and members of the Hire Higher COLLECTIVE.
The HH GRANTS will be awarded to creative projects that fall within the category of music video, short film, art project, and spec commercial.
