Directed by Jacob Niedzwiecki, Jacqueries brings together some of Toronto’s best performers, designers, and crew around a single mission: to make unique experiences for an adventurous audience.
Jacqueries, Part 1, a site-specific, app-supported political heist story, premiered in Toronto in the summer of 2013. In summer 2014, it won the Vanguard Award for Risk and Innovation at SummerWorks. In winter 2015, it had its US première at the Filmgate Interactive Transmedia Festival in Miami, where the Miami Herald called it “Deliciously, engagingly unnerving…an awful lot of fun.”
