Fusion Cardio Toronto is looking for a fun, safe, and highly skilled Salsa Caleña instructor to support a pilot Adult Beginners Colombian Salsa program.
The instructor must be able to commute on-time to the Bloor West – High Park area on a weekday evening for 1-hour between 7 PM to 9 PM

Instructor Responsibilities
To instruct a 55-minute fun, safe, and effective class for all levels and abilities with a focus on teaching ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS
Strong knowledge of Salsa Caleña basics (Cumbia step, circular movement)
Can create a 6-week OR 8-week beginner Salsa Caleña program that is progressive (each week, we build on what was previously learned)
Understands the components of a dance class (warm-up, dance learning, practice time, and a cool-down)
Should have experience dancing other Latin dances and Salsa styles
Shows up 10 minutes before class to set up and greet participants, and ends on time to pack up, arrange the room, and greet participants off
The Instructor Must Have
A minimum of 3 years of experience teaching Salsa Caleña and Latin dance classes
Must have a valid CPR Level C/A and AED training
Must have personal liability insurance
A portable speaker in case of emergency
Must speak, read, and understand English well
Bonus asset: Is a current Fitness Instructor Specialist, Personal Trainer, Movement/Fitness Coach, and/or equivalent
