Auditions for Diamond Tooth Gerties in Dawson City, Yukon

AUDITIONS FOR DIAMOND TOOTH GERTIES GAMBLING HALL
KareVan Productions is seeking male and female identifying vocalists and female identifying dancers for the 2025 season of shows at Diamond Tooth Gerties Gambling Hall in Dawson City, Yukon.
This is a paid contract, with travel and accommodation included.
This production consists of three 30-45 min revue shows and runs every night from May- September. There are 3 different shows each night, performed by a rotating cast:
• a gold rush themed show set in 1898 featuring can-can dancing and ragtime music
• a classy cabaret, featuring notable jazz/modern hits with a vintage feel
• a through the decades show, featuring the biggest hits of the past 70 years.

Toronto Auditions: October 23 (vocalists), October 24 (dancers)

Online Submission deadline: November 1, 2024

Dancers should have:
• Experience learning choreography quickly
• Training in ballet/jazz/contemporary
• Ability to kick to eye height, cartwheel (right and left) and jump split
• Aerial Arts/Acrobatic Skills and asset
• Ensemble singing ability an asset
