Casting Technically Trained Ballet/Contemporary/Jazz Dancer for Theatre Show

We are casting one professional female dancer with a background in ballet/jazz/contemporary dance to perform in a Christian theatre play, put on by a local church in Mississauga. The performance will take place on May 8th, 2026 at 7PM at the Living Arts Centre in Mississauga. The dancer is required to perform a 1-1.5 minute choreographed solo with an actor on stage. You do not need to choreograph the solo yourself – you will work in collaboration with the choreographer. (Having access to a car is an asset). You will perform in the first quarter of Act 1, and may leave after.

Time Commitment & Pay (Rehearsals $38/hr, Performance Day $250)
3-4 Hours of Rehearsal in Etobicoke/Mississauga. 2 hours between April 27th-May 1st. 2 hours between May 4-6 with the actor.
Performance Day May 8th. Arrival at 6pm for tech rehearsal onstage. Show begins at 7pm. You will leave within the first quarter.
