Children’s Dance Instructor

Star Dance Centre is a creative hub for dance professionals and novices located in the heart of North York, right above Sheppard-Yonge Subway. With over 25 award-winning dance professionals on faculty, we provide exceptional coaching for adults and kids while building confidence, presentation, and an active lifestyle. We are hiring an experienced Dance Instructor responsible for creating and executing lesson plans while making sure every student and parent feels supported.
Responsibilities:

Instruct classes in Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, K-Pop, and Creative Movement. Proficiency in additional styles is a plus.
Create choreographies and performance routines for students at all levels.
Train new students and analyze individual progress over time.
Plan and schedule lessons in coordination with studio staff.
Coordinate with the team on scheduling and administrative duties as needed.

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in one or more of the listed styles.
Strong choreography and performance skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with students of all ages.
Reliable and collaborative with a passion for growing the next generation of dancers.
