Danforth Dance Arts is a Children’s Dance Studio located in the heart of Toronto’s Riverdale neighbourhood. We also have a West end Studio called Encore Dance Arts. We are currently seeking passionate and experienced Children’s Dance Instructors for our August Summer Dance Camps as well as for the 2024/ 2025 Dance Season [Sept-June].
Candidates need to be well-versed in 2-3 of the following dance styles: Creative Movement, Ballet, Acro Dance , Lyrical, Musical Theatre/Jazz and Hip Hop classes.
The successful candidate should have the following experience and qualifications:
- All instructors must possess a current dance teaching certification and/or be highly experienced teaching their dance discipline;
- Ideally have experience teaching and developing very young dancers [from 3-13 years of age];
- Excellent musicality and feel comfortable singing songs to children in a dance class setting;
- Must be a true team player, reliable, driven, inclusive and self-motivated;
- Candidate will be eager to accept feedback and willing to continue their own professional development;
- Candidates must be extremely friendly, outgoing, positive and enjoy working with very young children.

- Weekends (9-4pm)
- Monday to Friday after school (3-9pm)
- Weekend availability is a must
