We are looking for a Dance Instructor to work with our figure skaters aged 10–17 as part of our off-ice training program. This role supports the development of basic movement skills that help build stronger, more confident skaters.
The focus is on helping athletes improve coordination, body awareness, musicality, and overall movement quality through fun and structured dance classes.
Responsibilities:
– Teach group classes in various styles such as ballet, jazz, hip hop, and/or contemporary
– Work with beginner to intermediate level skaters
– Help athletes develop:
– Basic movement and coordination
– Rhythm and musical awareness
– Confidence and performance quality
– Create a positive, engaging class environment
Schedule:
We are looking for tentative availability in one or both of the following times at Tomken Twin Arena (4495 Tomken Rd., Mississauga):
Wednesdays: 5:30–7:30 PM
Fridays: 5:00–7:00 PM
Qualifications:
– Background/training in dance (any of ballet, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, multiple styles preferred)
– Experience teaching children or youth is an asset
– Comfortable leading beginner-level classes
– Energetic, supportive, and reliable
