Dance Instructor – 2026–2027 Season

Element Dance Arts is seeking passionate and versatile Dance Instructors to join our faculty for the 2026–2027 dance season.
We are looking for educators with experience in a variety of styles, including RAD ballet, jazz, acro & tumbling, hip hop, lyrical, preschool, tap, and musical theatre. Ideal candidates are confident teaching across recreational and competitive programs and are excited to contribute to a positive, growth-focused studio environment.

Contract & Teaching Opportunities
Primary contract: September 2026 – June 2027
Additional opportunities for summer drop-in classes – July & August 2026
Potential for growth within the studio across multiple programs and age groups

Role Responsibilities
Teach classes in one or more of the following styles:
jazz, acro & tumbling, hip hop, lyrical, preschool, tap, and/or musical theatre
Work with:
Recreational dancers
Part-time competitive dancers
Competitive dancers
Create age- and level-appropriate choreography for:
Annual recital
Potential competitive routines
Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
Support dancers’ technical development, performance quality, and confidence
Collaborate with the artistic and administrative team
Communicate clearly with students, families, and studio leadership
Maintain organized lesson plans and class structure

Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with a range of ages and skill levels
Acro certification (for acro/tumbling applicants) considered an asset
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Comfortable choreographing for stage and group performances
Professional, reliable, and receptive to feedback
Team-oriented with a positive and collaborative attitude

Compensation
Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications
