Position: Pointe Shoe Fitter (multiple openings)
FreeStyle Dancewear is proud to be a leader in providing dancers with a large selection of high quality products, expert advice, and skilled pointe shoe fittings. Team Members represent the company by working directly with customers conducting fittings, sharing product knowledge, and making informed recommendations.
Hours
Part-time: Hours and shifts vary week to week depending on seasonal changes (e.g. back to dance, competition, recital, etc). This position requires availability on weekends and some evenings on a regular basis, however each week will vary and candidates can expect 4-20 hours per week depending availability and on the time of year.
Location
Team Members are required to work onsite in the FreeStyle Dancewear boutique in Kitchener and/or* Guelph, Ontario.
Responsibilities
-strong working knowledge of product specifications and availability
-inventory management
-meeting the individual needs of each dancer (from beginner to advanced)
-adaptable to change
-working independently as well as on a team
Qualifications
-must have experience dancing en pointe at an intermediate or advanced level
-18 years of age or older
-attention to detail is required for success in this position
-previous customer service experience is an asset
-strong organizational and time management skills to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
-strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
-excellent written and verbal communication skills
-open to feedback and eager to develop new and existing skills
