Are you passionate about ballet and eager to share your expertise with enthusiastic students? We have been growing young dance artists for over 35 years! At CDM Dance & Music, we are looking for a dedicated Advanced Ballet Teacher to join our dynamic team for the 2024/2025 season. This role offers opportunities for growth within our company and a warm, supportive environment where your talents will thrive.
Availability Requirements:
Days: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays (flexibility required)
We may hire more than one teacher depending on skill sets and availability of applicants.
Responsibilities:
Team Player: Collaborate with colleagues and foster a positive, professional atmosphere.
Role Model: Inspire and motivate students with your passion for ballet and exceptional teaching skills.
Curriculum: RAD Vocational syllabus, advanced free work classes, ballet conditioning, PBT, knowledge of variations, and pointe a plus!
Choreography: Recital Choreography required, Competitive choreography experience is a plus.
Versatility: Ability to teach all ages is highly valued.
Administration: Assist and possibly lead Exam Session Coordination, including scheduling and coaching.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification: RAD Certified preferred (Knowledge or certification in other affiliations (Vagonova, ABT, Cechetti or other curriculums) a plus.
Experience: 5 or more years teaching experience preferred.

Compensation:
- Pay Rate: Negotiable based on experience.
- Benefits: Health benefits spending account available after one year of employment.
