ShumdeSalsa is looking for an experienced Traditional Bachata Instructor to teach weekly classes at our studio in Toronto.

ShumdeSalsa is a Toronto dance school dedicated to sharing authentic Latin dance through fun, high-quality instruction and a strong sense of community. We offer Salsa, Bachata, Rueda de Casino, Cha-Cha-Cha, Son Cubano, and more.

Position Details
Position: Freelance Traditional Bachata Instructor
Schedule: Thursdays, 6:00–8:00 PM
Hours: Start with 2 hours per week, with the opportunity to grow to 4+ hours per week.
Compensation: $20–$45 per hour (paid per class), depending on experience.
Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who:
Has at least 5 years of experience teaching Traditional Bachata.
Speaks English fluently.
Is outgoing, professional, and easy to work with.
Has excellent customer service and communication skills.
Is reliable, flexible, and passionate about teaching.
Has performance experience (preferred).
Can create choreography and direct performances or competition teams (an asset).
