We Are Hiring: Performance Dance Academy Guelph

Performance Dance Academy in Guelph is hiring for the 24/25 Season. We are a dynamic and rapidly growing dance studio located in the south end of Guelph, and we are looking for talented, committed, and qualified dance instructors to join our team.
Applicants must be passionate, versatile instructors who are interested in the potential to grow long-term with our team. Depending on experience and specialties there is potential to work with both our competitive and recreational programs and a variety of age groups.

Responsibilities will include:

• Conducting engaging and well-structured dance classes tailored to students’ individual needs and abilities.
• Fostering a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages creativity, self-expression, and growth.
• Providing constructive feedback and guidance to help students progress and achieve their goals.
• Working with fellow instructors within the studio and at studio events and adding to the collaborative and supportive team within our studio.
• Preparing, cleaning, and supporting students with choreography for competitions and/or recitals.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience teaching dance classes to students of various ages and levels.
• Proficiency in specific or multiple dance dance styles and techniques.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students to reach their full potential.
• Dedication to continuous learning and professional development.
• Weekend availability is an asset.
• Certification in Acrobatic Arts, Royal Academy of Dance, ADAPT, and/or PBT is an asset.

Wages:

• Wages are negotiable based on experience.
