The Carousel Dance Centre is a dance school in Waterloo. Classes are offered for all ages starting at 18 months through to adults and seniors. Our pre-school and primary programs foster the love of dance in an encouraging and non-competitive environment. Our junior and senior students receive training in RAD ballet, modern dance, lyrical, jazz, tap and composition with a strong focus on creativity and the art of dance. Carousel students have the opportunity to join our dance company, an inclusive performance troupe that participates in several performances throughout the year. We’ve trained RAD solo seal candidates as well as RAD Fonteyne (formerly Genee) candidates and finalists. Many of our students have gone on to pursue professional careers in dance. Carousel also offers an adapted program and is committed to making sure that dance is accessible for all ages, all levels and all abilities.
