There is something about movement: it transcends words. We use movement to entertain, to inspire, to share and inform. It has many homes besides the stage. From garden to gallery, rooftop to runway, dance always finds a way to speak to us.
Creating choreographic work together since 2004, Co-Creative Directors Anisa Tejpar and Jennifer Nichols have defined their reputations as movement specialists and choreographers.
They have created works for both stage and screen, and have expanded the possibilities of presenting performance in alternative contexts. Inspired by the vibrancy of Toronto and the limitless possibilities of its arts scene, they work closely with clients to ensure their vision is realized.
Hit and Run’s expansive client list includes MAC Cosmetics, NIKE, the Toronto Botanical Gardens, Evergreen Brickworks, the Stratford Festival, the Toronto International Film Festival, Casa Loma, CTV, The Rolling Stones, and TELUS, PUMA, Brookfield, and the City of Toronto.
